Love is Shining at Manassas National Battlefield

One of the great parts about moving to a new area is getting to explore new places like Manassas National Battlefield, especially for a couples session! Back in Florida, there really aren’t locations that provide wide open fields with historical concepts so it really was such a treat to have a couples session here. The immense variety of backdrops at the battlefield really helps to bring diversity to the images I took for Jen & Logan. We visited the Stone House, the Stone Bridge, and even a part of Chinn Ridge to snag a gorgeous photo of them on a road with a tree overhang (I just adore tree overhangs!).

This was actually Jen & Logan’s first time taking professional photos together and man–they nailed it!! These two are just natural models which made my job a lot easier. I have to give them props too for being so flexible as we actually had to reschedule this session from the evening to the following morning due to rain (gotta love those summer rainstorms!). For such an early morning session, they were troopers and really made the whole session so enjoyable. I loved working with them and learning more about them as a couple. It’s my hope that they love these photos as much as I do! I cannot thank them enough for booking a session with me knowing that I was new to the area, and I hope they felt that they were in good hands with my expertise.

When you’ve got the right professional photographer, they’ll be able to create beautiful images in almost any environment, whether they’ve been there before or not. Not to toot my own horn but I think we nailed this session, and the images will speak for themselves!
