How many hours of coverage is included?
While shot lists sound helpful, I find that they actually limit my creativity and ability to capture your day in the best way possible. However, I always ask if there are any special shots you have in mind and I do ask for your preferred family groupings for a "family photo list". Other than that, my couples trust me and the vision I have to create a beautiful gallery of their day!
Do you work from a shot list?
Absolutely! I love a good adventure, especially when a love story is involved. Travel rates are customized to each location and are applied for locations 100+ miles from McLean, VA or Clearwater, FL. Reach out today to learn more!

Felt like one of our friends...
We hired Love, Lomax as our wedding photographer which included an engagement shoot, and were BLOWN AWAY with her work!
From the start Karisa was very easy to work with and is an incredibly kind, caring person. A photographer captures really intimate moments, and my husband and I felt so comfortable with her. She did a great job coaching us through the poses and went to a variety of locations to make sure we got all the shots.
Specifically for the wedding, she was incredibly organized by sending us a wedding questionnaire and creating a very detailed timeline, making sure she knew all the important photos we wanted to get. On my wedding day, she felt like one of my friends and was hyping my husband and I up all day. She was super respectful of our time and made sure we got photos efficiently so we could enjoy as much time with our family and friends.
Regarding her work, she is an AMAZING photographer. We got so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos, many people saying they look like they could have been in a magazine. All of my friends and family that interacted with Karisa on our wedding day spoke so highly of her and said we made the right decision hiring her. I cannot recommend Love, Lomax enough!!

Eased all our anxieties...
Our experience with Karisa at Love, Lomax Studios was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Before we booked her, she eased all our anxieties by having a call with us...One thing we really appreciated was how clear her pricing was. Nothing made me more anxious that reaching out to a vendor and having no clue what the financial commitment might be. With Love, Lomax Studios, we could see up front what the cost would be and everything a package included. My husband and I went for the "capturing everything" package and it was everything we could have wanted and more. Karisa was so easy to work with- both in person for the engagement shoot and then wedding...Her communication style is clear, loving and friendly, and concise...felt supported by her, in a way I hadn't even expected from a photographer, and she was so fun and game to try goofy shots we had in mind...my makeup artist commented on how professional she was, knowing exactly how to work around the other vendors onsite, in a way that apparently isn't always the case with other photographers. Not only is Karisa a delight to work with...extremely skilled...her photographs are AMAZING. Every single person who sees them can't help but gush over them. Karisa has such an eye for capturing intimate, beautiful, and real moments. It made choosing photos for our album so hard, but of course Karisa stepped in to help us there too!
