Lilac & Lavender Accents + Cowboy Boots = Perfection!

Danielle & Tyler’s September wedding at The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers is truly one to be remembered! There is nothing I love more than personalized touches on a wedding day, and that is exactly what I saw in their day. From the “Hello, Darling…” on the mirror to the cowboy boots, you could easily tell this wedding was designed for (and by!) them.

Danielle is actually a friend of mine that I had the honor of meeting back when I was still a nurse. On my first travel nurse assignment, I was contracted at a hospital in Annapolis, Maryland and she is one of the many friends I made! When she reached out to me almost 2 years later to photograph her wedding, I was ECSTATIC and knew I had to be there for her!

She is so ambitious and inspiring! I remember meeting her for the first time and she told me all about the different side gigs she had (including wedding coordinating and baking!). I couldn’t believe she made time for all of them!

While their venue is absolutely STUNNING (man, I love a good vaulted ceiling with chandeliers + TONS of natural light!), Danielle & Tyler wanted to share their First Look at Quiet Waters Park so we made the magic happen. Their First Look was shared on the popular white bridge and we explored the park to grab some precious couples portraits of the two of them. I love that the park has various gardens, gazebos, and a waterfront walkway! It really helps to diversify backdrops in their photos.

Personal Touches Make All the Difference

Something I really adore about Danielle & Tyler is their love for line dancing and karaoke, so of course they had to incorporate at least one of things during their reception. Check out their super fun shots towards the bottom of the page to see how amazing it was!

Another fun touch that Danielle & Tyler added was to do a Table Dash! This is where the couple has one song to get a picture at each table with their guests and some of the photos turned out hilarious as you’ll be able to see down below. While it can sometimes be tricky to achieve this in certain venues depending on the lighting situation, I think we managed to get some great shots as the venue has plenty of lighting. And we managed to complete it with seconds to spare (whew!).

All in all, they had a beautiful day surrounded by friends and family with plenty of hugs, tears, kisses, and congratulations to go around. I am so honored to have captured their special day for them, and I am sending all my best to the two of them on their journey of marriage!
